Our #1020305, an Alfa Romeo
8c 2300 Coupé-Spider with body by Touring. Our idea was to capture the look of the prototype as it appeared
in London in 1948, complete with snazzy leather roof and case of wine
behind the seat.
The Alfa coupé is one of the better
engineered kits in the Pocher line, so we cannot take much credit for
the way the body turned out, but we are proud of our swing-out windshield
and our new Alfa Hood Latches. The engine is sporting our latest Sterling
Silver Cam Covers, Coffee-Can Coil and a host of scratch-built details.
The pedal-activated brake lights are a crowd-pleaser, and the scratch-built radiator grill sets a new standard for us. All
in all, this Alfa represents a successful project for us, and makes a
welcome addition to our list of "Custom Built Models."
